Our Team
Marc Wertheim
President and CEO
Marc Wertheim is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ColdIron Enterprises Inc. Marc is a graduate of Walnut Hills High School and The Ohio State University. Marc started working at ColdIron in 1984 and purchased ColdIron in 1999. His extensive experience in concessions, event rentals, and event production has driven ColdIron to its success today and will continue into the future.

Mario Cicchinelli
Chief Operating Officer
Mario Cicchinelli is the ColdIron Chief Operating Officer. Mario comes to ColdIron with vast experience in the Greater Cincinnati area working for a Fortune 500 Company (Coca Cola) for 19 years, bringing Pro Beach Volleyball to the area for 8 years, handling the Director of Marketing duties at the largest Health Care System in Ohio and in 2015 as the Vice President of FC Cincinnati Professional Soccer. His vast experience in these large corporate and sports roles has helped develop the platform for ColdIron in the event industry.

Rob Kuper
General Manager
Rob Kuper is the General Manager of ColdIron. Rob has over 31 years of experience in the rental, concessions and event production business. In Rob’s role as GM, he oversees the entire operation of the company. His vast experience in logistics and team management has created a positive work environment and enabled ColdIron to grow significantly in the past 3 years.
Operations Manager

Denny Reynolds is the ColdIron Operations Manager. Denny has over 15 years of event experience with certification in skid steer operation and CPR. Denny has worked as a laborer, supervisor, and foreman, and now as Operations Manager for Coldiron. His extensive experience includes the setup of the area’s largest events. Denny enjoys the fast pace of the event business and the work environment that has been created at ColdIron.
Bill Wells is a Concession Manager at ColdIron. Bill has worked at ColdIron for over 30 years. Bill has vast concession equipment knowledge and experience.
Adminstative Assistant
Deb Roenker is the Administrative Assistant at ColdIron. Deb has a vast knowledge of policies and procedures, business ethics, event planning and production, and customer service. Her experience of 35 years has helped grow ColdIron and positioned them well for future development.
Layne Butler
Sales Manager
Layne joined the ColdIron family as Sales Manager in 2020. She brings 30+ years in sales and customer service to her position. While she is new to ColdIron, she brings with her 13 years of rental experience here in the Metro Cincinnati region. Layne enjoys volunteering with Great Friends Working Cooperatively, on a number of community service projects. On a personal note, Layne relaxes by indulging in paper crafting, which is just one of her many hobbies.
David Wertheim
Event Manager
David Wertheim is the Coldiron Event Manager. David has worked at Coldiron in a variety of roles for 10 years, growing up in the event business and spending his summers at Cincinnati's biggest events. His expertise in the fields of customer service and analytics bring a new, fresh voice to Coldiron. He is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, with a degree in marketing.
Michelle Hampel
Assistamt Sales Manager
Michelle Hampel is joining ColdIron Enterprises Inc. as an Assistant Sales Manager, overseeing equipment rentals and planning a wide range of events for clients in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Michelle is a certified event rental professional with the American Marketing Association and brings decades of event planning experience to ColdIron, having spent nearly 30 years with the Alleen Company and overseeing multiple points of the equipment rental process.
